Me and my brother are trying to connect our ds’s but it is saying please wait but it doesn’t connect. We are both using gba games but they aren’t the same version. And can we connect a ds game to a gba game?

yea well didn’t you see that when u get a ds and play gba games ur avalibility to connect on them is taken away?thats why i kept my gba when i got a ds so if me and my bro wanted to connect we could sry tough luck. on pkmn, u CAN connect after u beat the elite 4.in pal park…you can transfer pkmn from Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, LeafGreen, and FireRed.BUT BEWARE, IF YOU DO THIS YOU CANNOT GET YOUR POKEMON BACK FROM PEARL/DIAMOND/PLATNIUM!!!good luck dude
You can’t connect GBA games with DS games. You have to use two GBA’s.
About the DS-GBA, I only know of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red and Blue working together. Also Pokemon DPP-Emerald, Firered, Leafgreen, etc. Although for these it’s not really a “true” connect. All you can do is transfer items and Pokemon.

You could do it if your ds game and the gba game is in the ds. them on the ds game go to pal park. then migrate 6 pokemon to the ds game.

To connect GBA pokemon games you need 2 GBA’s and a GBA link cable. Nintendo was cheap with the DS and opted out of retrofitting the wireless.
